One of my students’ parents of Banswada School has called me on September 21, 2020, after the completion of gender session. Geetha said that she felt very happy that her daughter has participated in the sessions and learned about gender and menstruation. Even she herself doesn’t know the exact facts and myths about menstruation but she felt delighted that at the right time her child got to know about the DO’S and DON’T’S during menstruation. Geetha said that STEM classes have given her daughter important and relevant information on this topic. The facilitator is taking STEM sessions quite efficiently, adds Geetha. She also said that STEM classes should be a must have class for every child.
